Lady Tanya Mack is an educator, worship leader, and co-founder of The L.I.V.E. Church. A proud native of Mount Vernon, she has dedicated over 14 years to the Mount Vernon City School District, currently serving as a 6th-grade math and science teacher at Mount Vernon's Performing and Visual Arts Magnet School.
Driven by a passion to shape young minds, Lady Tanya creates learning environments that spark trust, curiosity, and engagement. Her desire to be an asset to the community that gave her so much has made her a catalyst for inspiring students to pursue their dreams through education.
A gifted vocalist with a deep love for the Arts cultivated from a young age, Lady Tanya played clarinet throughout her school career and developed her vocal talent through various ensembles and choirs. She has performed background vocals for renowned artists including Karen Clark-Sheard, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Marvin Sapp, Cyrus Chestnut, and Lisa Fischer. She currently serves as a background vocalist at the historic Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem.
Lady Tanya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Stony Brook University, a Master of Science in Education from Mercy College, and a Professional Diploma in School Building Leadership from Manhattan College.
Happily married to Bishop-Elect Damon Mack, Lady Tanya partners with him in leading The L.I.V.E. Church—a ministry committed to building lives spiritually, emotionally, and mentally through Jesus Christ, empowering individuals to live the life God has designed for them to live.
Together, they are building the Kingdom of God across the Northeast, one life at a time.
